America’s law enforcement officers are under attack by the radical left who vow to defund the police, or as Joe Biden likes to phrase it, “redirect funds” from the police. But no matter how you phrase it, the end result would be the same—American families and communities everywhere would be less safe thanks to policies that would deprive law enforcement of the necessary appropriations and resources they need to do their job.
Americans will face a reckoning this November: vote for Joe Biden a candidate who has said he would “absolutely” defund the police and who defends violent anarchists as peaceful protestors, or vote for President Trump who remains committed to supporting America’s law enforcement and keeping our communities safe.
That is why police organizations around the country who have previously endorsed Joe Biden are now endorsing President Trump. The National Association of Police Organizations (NAPO), The International Union of Police Associations, and the Florida Police Benevolent Association are among the law enforcement groups that have already given their endorsement.
NAPO’s President Michael McHale praised the President, “Our endorsement recognizes your steadfast and very public support for our men and women on the front lines, especially during this time of unfair and inaccurate opprobrium being directed at our members by so many.”
President of the Florida PBA, John Kazanjian said, “I spelled it out on what’s going on not just in Florida but across this country that, ‘Hey, you know what, we’re getting beat up. We’re getting used like a punching bag and we’re tired of it and President Donald Trump has been there for us. He supported us.’”The International Union of Police Associations stated, “President Trump has done more for Law Enforcement in the past two and a half years than was accomplished in the eight years that preceded his election. He has even undone some of the harmful acts of his predecessor.”
The brave men and women who serve on the thin blue line every day can no longer afford to back Joe Biden, a candidate who won’t stand with them, won’t have their back, and won’t protect them. President Trump stands with law enforcement and they are standing with him. He recognizes that our country was founded on law and order and that we must empower the brave members of law enforcement who keep our communities safe every day, not threaten to defund them—it’s what the majority of Americans support.
